About Us

Access Group Training (AGT) is a not-for-profit Group Training Company and Registered Training Organisation, accredited to provide training through the NSW Vocational Education Training Accreditation Board (VETAB). It commenced operations in 1997 and has recently been re-accredited, until 2008, after demonstrating compliance with the Australian Quality Training Framework standards.

Access Group Training is also a Quality Assured Organisation to ISO 9001/12530 Standards and prides itself on continually reviewing and improving the service it provides to its clients. This provides assurance to Access Group Training's clients and trainees, that our management, processes and systems are best practice, our product and services are of high quality and quality training services are delivered

AGT currently has over 1000 Trainees throughout NSW & ACT and is registered to provide a range of nationally recognised courses in NSW, ACT, Victoria and Queensland. Access Group Training has User Choice contracts with the NSW Department of Education and Training and in the ACT with Training and Adult Education. In addition AGT holds contracts with the Commonwealth Department of Employment and Workplace Relations.

AGT has the capability to deliver training in both on-the-job and off-the-job environments. AGT is providing training for both large and small business operators throughout NSW and the ACT as well as for local government and utility providers. Individual trainee numbers range from one trainee in an isolated roadhouse in Western NSW to over forty at other sites.

Access Group Training is currently accredited to deliver a wide range of courses enabling it to provide a variety of training options specifically targeted to meet Industry and business needs. The training provided varies from entry-level Certificate II courses to more sophisticated and demanding Certificate IV courses. All qualifications are nationally recognised.

Our primary responsibility is to meet the needs of trainees/clients with respect to skills, knowledge and personal qualities that inspire them to learn, to accept responsibility for their learning and to demonstrate initiative in a changing society. The individual is always at the centre of the learning process.
